Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to everyone, it truly does look gloomy and dreary and a lot like a Halloween day, at it is even kind of warm out.  I wanted to share a card I received in the mail from Gloria Helmbrecht that is perfect for today!  This is made with the Circle Card Thinlits Die.

I also wanted to share the treats that my daughter Clare took to school with her today!

Betsy's Blossoms

Another stamp set on sale for 25% off is Betsy's Blossoms.  This is a fun bold set that I love to use with  bright colors to create a dramatic look.  The card below is using the 2012-2014 In Colors, and I stamped the image multiple times before reinking to get the different colors.

Almost all of the leaves are finished falling here.  Gently Falling is a great set of leaves for making fall cards and is currently 25% off.  It is a two step set that makes the designs look more real, and allows you to use different colors as you layer the stamps.

Gorgeous Grunge

One of my favorite parts about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is getting together with others and see their ideas.  It seems like everytime I stamp with others, they teach me things that I didn't see on my own.  The Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set is one that I did not even notice in the catalog.  When I was together with my downline, this was one of the sets we used on several cards and I immediately knew I needed to have it.  It is perfect for creating great backgrounds and dimension.  It is now one of my favorite sets, I'm sure I'll have more ideas to share soon.

Halloween Full Moon

Welcome to Stacy’s Stampin Studio Blog.  Fall is in the air, and fall always gets me thinking ahead to Thanksgiving and the Holidays.  In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I would like to say Thank You to my wonderful customers that have been with me throughout the past 13 years and for supporting my business.  I would also like to say a huge Thank You to Gloria Helmbrecht, she is the reason that I am starting my blog.  Since my start with Stampin’ Up!, Gloria has been the only real up-line that I have had, and I always look forward to events she offers to her downline, thanks for all that you do!

This Fall card is what my yard looks like right now!  There are leaves  and beautiful colors everywhere.  This card uses sponging to add color to the background, a sticky note was punched out to create a mask that creates a full moon.
