Snowfall Puff Paint

Snowfall Accents Puff Paint is so much fun, everyone should try it!  You apply it to your project and then heat with the heat tool and it puffs up like snow.  Also the Snowman builder punch is so much fun too, with or without the Snowman Season Stamp Set.

  

Happy Harvest

I did not really get to any cards for Halloween, so this will have to take care of my fall cards.  October has been a very crazy month, the beginning of the month I was in Denver, CO, and tomorrow, I am heading to Indianapolis, IN.  So Happy Harvest, for all my family and friends to work so hard in the fields, it sure has been a crazy year for planting and harvesting with all the rain, thinking of all you and wishing you a Happy Harvest!

Light & Peace

Each year  I choose a religious stamp set to use for my cards to family.  This year that stamp set is Light & Peace, it is a very detailed stamp set, but a little watercoloring and looks great!   I will need to add a little snow to the ship on my next card.

Toile Christmas Bundle

The Toile Christmas Bundle in the Holiday Catalog is stunning.  On the three samples below I used the watercolor pencils and aqua painters to color in the images.  A simple textured background works well with detailed stamps.

Snow globe fun

The Still Scenes bundle has arrived and I have been doing a bit of playing around to see what I can come up with.  So many options to fill the snow globe with, and whether using it as a shaker or just flat, they all look so different.  What a great bundle to get through the holidays and winter seasons.  My oldest daughter has a collection of snow globes that she started when she was very young, brings back some great memories.

Rustic Retreat

From the moment I saw the Rustic Retreat Stamp Set at OnStage, I need to have it.  The demonstrator that designed it is from WI, and I think that is part of the reason that it looks spot on for this area.  Yes, I live with deer hunters, grew up in a house with deer hunters and it is part of the calendar of events each year.  As it starts to feel like fall, this is definitely where some of the minds in my home drift off to.  

More Watercolor and Silhouettes

When I have time to play around, it is always fun to create several different designs with the pigment crystals.  Here are a few of the different watercolor backgrounds that are perfect to coordinate with the Friendly Silhouette Dies.

Tiny Trucks

Ride With Me Bundle is found on pg 55 of the Catalog.  A fun stamp set and coordinating dies that can create these tiny trucks.  What a fun decoration for anywhere.  My daughter enjoys old cars and trucks, and she thinks these are fun.  Still trying to fill the back of all the trucks.  The tree is made using the Pine Tree Punch in the Holiday Catalog.

Stamp Club September

Yesterday was Stamp Club and here are a the cards that were created.  A good sampling of some quick and easy cards with products from the Holiday Catalog.

Vibrant Vases

Some days are just made for coloring, and the Vibrant Vases stamp set is a great one for intricate designs to color.  As fall is approaching it is also great to sneak in a few more FLOWER cards before its too late.  

An entire herd of cows!

Over the Moon is a fun stamp set if you love cows.  My entire life I have lived in the dairy state, and I have 2 sisters that currently are dairy farmers, so I have a little bit of a connection and strong support of the dairy industry.  These cows are so much fun, and can create the perfect addition to any occasion.  I really like the first card with the brick wall, which is your favorite? 

Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak

Its only a few weeks until the Holiday Mini Catalog will be available to order from.  My preorder just arrived, and here are a few quick cards that I created.  Do you see anything that looks exciting to you?

Simple Iris

Just because the stamp set has an outline for the flower, doesn't mean you have to use it....in case you didn't see my earlier post, Iris' are my favorite flower, so this set is getting a lot of use.  I really like the look of the flower with just the watercolorish stamps.  It is super simple, but still looks very elegant.  And in case you haven't figured out what my favorite color is, it is purple, so loving the Highland Heather with the iris'.

Washi Flower

Do you love to use washi tape?  Well check out the flower on the card below, not only does it use some amazing foil embossed DSP, and has a gorgeous embossed frame, but the flower is made using pre-made washi flower petals.

More Daisies!

Are there daisies blooming in your yard.  We have a patch of lawn that each year is covered in daisies that we let grow and it creates a beautiful accent to the corner of our yard for a few weeks!  Daisy Lane Stamp Set and the  coordinating Daisy Punch have been so much fun to use!  The New IN COLOR Rococo Rose was used on this card along with the IN COLOR DSP, I was so excited for the 6x6 DSP with checks, script, and other great designs!  

Friendly Silhouettes Dies

The Friendly Silhouettes Dies immediately caught my attention when looking through the catalog.  Being able to make a card really pop off the page is always the desired effect, and this look is dramatic.  For these 2 cards I used the watercolor paper and Pigment Sprinkles to create the background and then glued the die cut onto the background.

Perennial Essence in Petal Pink

I love using punches and flower punches are especially fun to create a fun creative look.  The card below uses both the Perennial Flower Punch and the Leaf Punch.   

Safe in WI

This past Saturday we had some bad storms with straight line winds blow through, a lot of damage, trees down, and power outages.  At this point it has been 76 hours without power and it could possibly be 2 more days without.  No major damage in my yard, just a few days of tree clean up and a few more to go.  

Prior to all this excitement I did have a few cards completed that I didn't get a chance to share.  The Friendly Silhouettes Dies are so amazing, and after looking through some of the new papers, they work great to create a quick easy card that looks beautiful.  The new Watercolor Crystals just arrived and I am looking forward to making some watercolors that will work as similar backgrounds.

July Stamp Club Cards

July Club had a chance to use a few of the new flower stamps to create the cards below.  Which one is your favorite.  I really like the oval frame with the Old Olive Foil.

Party til the cows come home

Another cow card!  The Over the Moon stamp set is just so darn cute!  June is Dairy Month, so celebrating the Dairy industry is a great way to show our support for Wisconsin Dairy Farmers.

Country Home is back

Country Home is back in the new catalog.  The milk can is perfect for an antique look, and with the Stampin' Blends or watercolor pencils it is so easy to get a nice antique look.  I can't wait to stamp many other new images in the milk can. 

Perennial Essence Suite

The Perennial Essence Suite is beautiful.  The stamp set includes more flowers, but with a punch to create punch out flowers it adds some fun.  The DSP that coordinates is like nothing Stampin' Up! has had in the past, the colors and deep, dark and dramatic.  This was a must have from the moment I saw! On the card below I stamped the flowers in Blackberry Bliss, and then right away used the Wink of Stella to blend the color and add some sparkle.
