Make A Splash

This set is so much fun!  Make A Splash is a Host set in the Occasions Mini Catalog and it is a unique set. This card was so quick and easy, and love how cute it turned out.  A great set for cards for boys or girls.

Tropical Oasis

Winter Storm is on its way to WI, and this post is helping me not think about it.  Being the Horticulture Nerd that I am, I am very critical of plants and flowers in DSP and stamp sets.  I also have my favorite plants, and for some reason Stampin' Up! doesn't have the same similar taste.  Well the Bird of Paradise is a favorite of mine, I even started some from seed when I was in High School and ended up taking them to college with me.  They were in huge pots and flowered during the summer and were amazing.  The Tropical Oasis Suite has some very beautiful DSP, and one of the sheets is this beautiful Bird Of Paradise paper.  This also coordinates with the Tropical Chic Stamp Set in the Main Catalog

Mountain Air Fun

I was so excited to play around with the new Mountain Air Bundle.  The first few attempts left me feeling like it was not going to be as easy as I had hoped.  But I kept playing around and the more time spent, the more fun I was having.  I really like the possibilities and the variety of just stamping and using the Dies to create layers.  This is now definitely one of my favorite sets in the New Mini Catalog.  Which one is your favorite?

Valentine's Day is around the corner

Valentine's Day is only a month away, get started now!  I decided to start on a few cards today, and went back to a favorite heart in Puzzle Pieces Dies.  Using some DSP and accesories, here are few quick and easy cards that will work perfect for the upcoming holiday.

January Club

It's been a little icy, but found some time for my Stamp Club ladies to see a few card ideas.  Several New items from the Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration.  The first card from the Honey Bee Bundle is an easy, yet fun set to create with, and the added bonus of FREE SAB Golden Honey DSP that is gorgeous helps to create some beautiful designs.

The Mountain Air Bundle with Reversibles by Stampin' Up! creates a new element to thinking about stamping.  You just flip the stamp over and can create some great texture in these landscapes.  This set has so many options, that I could just sit and play for hours.

Country Club

Golf sounds like fun right now doesn't it?  I would love to walk through the green grass of the golf course.  I guess I will have to settle for making a few cards instead.  Yes, there are a few golfers in our house and extended family, so a great set to have and some beautiful DSP.  

Band Together

Beautiful flowers are months away, but are so beautiful to create using the Stampin' Blends.  These Zinnia's from Band Together, look great in any color.  The first card was accented with sequins from the SAB catalog.
