Cute As A Bug Suite

I know that not everyone has an appreciation for bugs.  I remember my oldest daughter loved the movie "Bugs Life", and I have no idea how many time I had to watch that movie.  I also had a semester of entomology in college, so don't mind bugs at all, and these ones are just cute.

 

Last Chance - Made with Sweetness Bundle

 

The Made with Sweetness Bundle is filled with fruit. For the cards below I used the two tone card stock, and it gives the perfect contrast in color for creating a really nice shadowy color.

Last Chance - Far Away Landscapes

Far Away Landscapes is the perfect stamp set for water coloring.    You will never have two cards that look exactly alike when using a watercolor technique.  With these cards I used an ink pad.

Cats or Dogs?

The Cutest Crew is the perfect name for this bundle.  Do you like the cats or the dogs?  I'm not sure which I like better, but what a fun set for those that love their pets.

 

Gingerbread Man

There is always one set that after looking through a new release of products that screams, I have to have that, it is on my pre-order.  Gingerbread Man was that set. Such a simple stamp set with a very festive look.  Traditional Sparling Sequins are dots that add some sparkle, they are flat and just perfect with this set.

 

Happy Place

Happy Place is exactly the image of a happy place that everyone should enjoy!  It looks great in many colors and also with colored in, Misty Moonlight is the color I chose.

Summer Time Treasures

It has been great to have my youngest home for the summer.  She is not usually one to sit down and stamp with me, but when she does, she has incredible talent and a unique style.  One evening she saw the story book characters and decided to sit down and join me stamping.  The fox card was inspired by her summer job in the cranberry marshes.  I love the ideas she came up with. Just a few short weeks and she will be off to Italy for a semester.

Enjoying Summer

I hope that you are all enjoying this ever changing summer.  I'm not sure that we have had a full week yet, that has not been from one extreme to the other.  It is hard to believe that the 4th of July is already past, and stores are already full of Back to School and Christmas.

I can say "no more flowers, no more flowers, no more flowers" and then, there are more flowers.  This happens not only in my stamp collection, but also in my yard at this time of year.  The Impressions Abloom Bundle has some fun flowers, but it also has this this nice oval that fits really well with flowers.
