Time to Celebrate with a bit of me time

Well, today was the day, the big "40"!  All went well and was actually quiet enough of a day, that I found a few moments to spend stamping!  I started out punching out some butterflies, but wasn't feeling like that was what was calling me today.  With the cold temps, I guess I felt called to Halloween.  My oldest daughter is very afraid of Spiders (and most other things that creep around) that I used her as my inspiration for this card!

Brick Wall

The new Brick Wall Folder is must have, perfect for masculine or feminine cards, and a very different look.  The bricks look great in different colors and are perfect using both sides of the folder.

Beautiful Butterflies

 It has been awhile, and summer has been non stop at my house, but I am back, and going to try and get on track again.  The new catalog started in July and the Holiday Mini Catalog will be starting on Sept 1.

The new butterfly items all coordinate so well, the folder, the thinlits, the new stamp set, and if you love butterflies these are for you.  I think my most favorite part is that they look so great in just about any color combination!  So I am sure you will be seeing more butterfly samples.

It is Star Wars day, and my daughter is a fan.  Normally she would make May Day baskets, but we just didn't have time, so she was looking for things to do yesterday, so she made some Star Wars Baskets for the neighbors.  These were all her ideas and work!

Simple Butterfly

A very simple card but very dramatic.  I spent some time cutting a bunch of butterflies out from my scrap pile and wanted to at least accomplish one card, and this was very fast.  I like the look of the dots and with two different colors is such a nice look.

Sparkling Birthday

What a time to shine.  I thought this flip card was perfect for a fun birthday card.  The black and silver really made for a nice look.  I also used the silver ink with clear embossing powder on the glasses, the accent paper was silver glimmer paper.
