Star of Light in Dapper Denim

Here are a few more ideas for the Star of Light Set.  For those of you that know me, I am not a GOLD person, I prefer silver, and just love the gray and Dapper Denim combo.  What do you think?

Joyful Nativity in Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke

More fun with the Joyful Nativity Set.....I know it may be hard to see, but there are some small details that may be hard to see.  I used the Timeless Textures ont he first 2 cards to add some small background.  On the first card I used a little of the Gold Wink of Stella in the halo above Jesus.

More of Joyful Nativity with Star of Light

These 2 sets are just perfect together.  The Dapper Denim would not have been a color that when I first saw it, I would have thought Christmas, but it works!  The Star Thinlits have so many variations, that just a small change gives a completely different look.  These will be the sets that I use for the majority of my Christmas Cards this year.

Detailed Floral Thinlits

A dramatic look with the black on gray.  It is hard to see, but using the Wink of Stella Glimmer Brush adds some accents that make some of the background stand out.

Cat with Pumpkin Jar

Here are a few variations of the Pumpkin Jar with the cat from my Club Project, I wanted to show how it is fun to take one element that you like, and create something different with the same focal point.  I just loved using the Fox Punch to create the Black Cat, and that Jar to look like a pumpkin.  For those that don't have a lot of Halloween stamps, these are simple ideas of using other items to create the Holiday Theme.

Gingerbread Cookie Cutter

The little clear boxes will be so much fun for small little gifts this year for Christmas.  The Cookie Cutter stamps fit perfectly on the sides to add a cute little decoration. I used a scrap of the DSP that I used on the belly band to punch out the bow tie.

Scarecrows

Is this scarecrow not the cutest thing ever?  Of all the Fall Cookie cutter stamps, this is the one that I love the best.  Yes it takes more work than the skeleton, because you have to color it in, but it is just so cute.  For past several years the girls have enjoyed using up some of our leaves and creating a few scarecrows, they have even set aside some accessories and it is always a fun time.

Christmas is coming

You may not be ready for it, but the Holiday Season will be here soon.  Now is the time to start planning especially for your holiday cards.  I am in love with two new sets, the one from the main catalog is Joyful Nativity, it features the word joy and the nativity scene along with several other stamps.  The other set is from the Holiday Catalog and has a coordinating Thinlits Set Star of Light Photopolymer Bundle, you can see the gorgeous stars and the spray of stars, that coordinate so well.

Holiday Mini....Halloween

Halloween is such a fun holiday to stamp for, and the New Holiday Catalog has some fun things to choose from.  The Cookie Cutter stamp set has a Halloween Set with coordinating punch.  I am so loving all the great images that this set has to offer.  Two of the cards below will also be featured in my upcoming Fall class.  Contact me to learn more.

Fall is in the air

I can feel it, the temps are dropping, the sunset is earlier, oh and the seasonal allergies are all the rage.  I know that it won't be long and I will be outside raking daily as we have tons of leaves.  Here is a sample of two of the cards I will have at an upcoming class in October.  These are from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set and the one also has Jar of Love!

Final Flourishes

As summer is winding down, and I am slowly needing to move onto fall and holiday cards.  This is always hard for me as I think the majority of my stamps are flowers, because I just like flowers!  I know some people can relate.  The thinlit die flowers are just gorgeous, so it will be hard to say goodbye for a few months.
